Nukkad Naatak, a film by first-time filmmakers and no big names had knocked every door
possible to get the film made and released. But when no one opened that door for them, they
decided to release the film on their own. Nothing unusual and it happens with most of the
people and all the time.
What makes this specific filmmaker’s journey interesting is that he does not lose hope and
chooses a backdoor entry to get his film to the audience.
First, he chooses to make a vertical on how to make it in Bollywood. Next, he posts these
series on social media and when that does not garner attention, he chooses an unheard-of
idea.  
The director and his team begin narrating their film via street play on the roads. Yes, you
heard that right, director Tanmaya Shekhar and his lead actor Molshri hired a caravan and
toured across 13 cities for 40 days, performing important scenes from their film and urging
audiences to watch the film in cinema halls.
