Filmmaker Nasir Hussain mostly made musicals and his films always focused on the process of falling love rather than love by itself. Hussain believed that in love everyone said the same things, so it was their journey and not the destination he was interested in narrating as a story. He made several films over the decades and all of them were super hits. Superstars came and went but his formula of making movies remained unchanged. In 1977 he made Hum Kissi Se Kum Nahi featuring Rishi Kapoor and new girl Kajal. The film had super music by RD Burman and the film even won a national award.
