I remembered that and when a good idea came to me, I jotted it down and when time permitted, I elaborated on it as a screenplay. Opportunity knocked on my door in the form of Pritesh Soda, a leading producer and theatre personality, desperately looking for a story to immediately launch a theatre production.
Writer Hiten Anandpara transformed the original screenplay to suit the Gujarati audienced and soon the casting was confirmed as well. Come September and we were ready to premier our play and that’s when the covid happened. The theatres opened, shut, opened to half capacity and shut again. The yo yo was exasperating and we decided to wait till all was well.
