The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai hosted the K-Harmony Festa with the support of Maharashtra Tourism Department held a festival to celebrate tourism ties between India and South Korea via food, music, and artistic exchange.
India and South Korea share a timeless cultural and historical bond, from ancient Buddhist connections to the growing exchange of music, movies, art and cuisine. The two countries will jointly promote Buddhist heritage tourism by linking Maharashtra’s Ajanta-Ellora caves, Karla-Bhaja caves, and the Global Vipassana Pagoda with South Korea’s Jogyesa, Gilsangsa, and Bongeunsa temples.
The K-Harmony festa marks a new milestone in reinforcing tourism and cultural exchange between India and South Korea.
