College girl- then and now – Day 2873

Forty-five years ago, on this very day a film called College Girl was released in 1978. It told the story of Asha who is cheated raped by her boyfriend in college.  After the initial shame and scandal Asha and her family decide to fight the case in the court but are unable to justify their stand because they have no proof against him. Fortunately, a lot has changed since then but a lot remains the same because now, we hear of cases where boys and girls betray each other on dating apps and files cases to make more money.
