Finally, a meal-break during tea-time and we make sure to add all the idli, dossa, vada available on the Banana Leaf menu. The delicious food has stimulated us and we are ready for our next stop at Granth Book Store in Juhu. The best thing about this book stories the location. The very special balcony that overlooks the busy street. It is a wonderful spot to just sit and stare at the world go by or to have coffee and conversation with your readers.
Quite clearly, I am not the only one who likes to do this. There are many who are sitting at the tables and simply chilling.
I notice youngsters sitting in different corners of the store silently reading books. I speak to a few of them and they tell me that they browse and when they are sure they love the book, they decide to buy it. Two of them deliberate a bit and approach me for my autograph on Letters to Self. I am curious why they pick the copy and prod them what they feel about our Prime Minister and India. They express their thoughts freely and fearlessly. It is a wonderful evening with positive vibrations all around us and it is time for us to leave for our last destination…
