Sibling number three Mahendra or Rajabhai as the family called him left home at a very young age to chase his dreams but when it was time to settle down, he relied on his parents to find him the right match in India.
The family priest brought us many proposals and there was one, Rama Lakhani that the family approved of but the celestial stars did not synchronize.
So Rajabhai returned to his job and for a while the marriage plan was on hold. When he returned home again, the same priest brought back the same proposal and this time, destiny smiled and both the bride and the groom said, “Yes”.
Rajabhai’s daughters studied and grew up in Toronto but when it was time for marriage, both relied upon their parents to find them adequate grooms. So, it was Vikas Desai, a dentist for older one Preety and Anand Gowda, an investment banker for the younger Shilpi. Years later Preety and Vikas had two boys and Shilpi and Anand had two girls, cheers for cheerful family trees.
