Keshava likes Kamala for purity (Day 1654)

By 23 September, 2019Uncategorized

I bloom and spread cheer, I spread fragrance.

When I am plucked from the weed I am offered to the deity.

When I wilt away, I become medicine.

I am Kamala.

I am the symbol of love because unlike other flowers, I never break completely.

When I wilt I separate into two parts but remain connected with fibres and roots which is why I am used as a metaphor for lovers when describing everlasting romance.

I am Saroja

I am the symbol of rectitude.

I am sacred and incorruptible.

I am Padmaja

I am the symbol of triumph.

I am divine, I am fertile.

I am wealth and I am knowledge

I am Ambuja
